Born in Higuey, Dominican Republic. Migrated to the City of Lawrence in 1978. Served as president of the Semana Hispana 1994, and currently serves as the secretary in the executive board. Mother of 2 children. Holds a Master in Education, from Cambridge College. Currently works at Lawrence Public Schools as a Teacher Assistant. Also Works with ABEL and Merrimack Autism Services, as an ABA counselor for children with Autism. I am passionate about educating our community and keeping our culture alive. I choose Semana Hispana to help keep our roots and culture, which has marked our past, present and future. In conclusion, I would like to Thank God for guiding me through all my journeys and for always being present in my life. I am honor and proud to be a Semana Hispana board member.
